9 months. We started in Maine the first of August and traveled down the East Coast, all the way to Key West, then around the Gulf all the way to the southern tip of Texas.
We enjoyed maybe our last 10,000+ step beach walk for a while, today. The Jeep has had sugar sand in it since the day after we got her.
I knew I was an Ocean Girl at a young age. My skin, curls and soul are filled with the warm sun and salty air after the past 9 months.
In the past few years, I also learned I am a Mountain Girl, and a Desert Girl, and an Adventure Girl. Time for the adventure to continue. It’s time to dust off those hiking boots and for the Jeep to kick up some red sand.
It’s not good bye, it’s until we meet again.
