Best laid plans, are always changing. Had to move to another RV park today before the county locks out any new people entering the parks, even if they had reservations. We had a 28-day reservation here starting tomorrow, the first. Lockdown starts at midnight the 31st. .
We were in a sister park across town. We are limited to how many days we can stay at each RV Park. If yesterday we had not found out from some friends of ours who are here in this park, we would have found out by an email this morning, like a lot of people did. Either way, we would have been moving today, not tomorrow. Glad to be settled in one location for a while now. (I hope 🤞) .
These are strange times for all of us, and especially for us full time RVers. We have our own self contained house, we just need somewhere we can park it. As COVID19 started spreading, many National and State campgrounds started to close. Many private campgrounds have also started. Even if the company wants to keep them opened, counties and cities can change that. RVers are trying to stay put, but becoming challenging for some, and even if we are in a spot long term, that can change and we can be asked to leave with very short notice. Even our friends out boondocking in the desert can’t be sure those lands will remain open. But, this is RV Life. For a million of us right now. Always some kind of adventure. Stay safe out there, friends. .
