Father Eddie. Met this delightful man at the San Xavier Mission last week when we visited with our NANPA Group. Eddie has short term memory loss, which makes him the perfect person to hear confession. He has lived a life of service to the Mexican people, the undocumented in New Mexico and the native O’odham in Arizona. He is sad to leave his post at the mission after Easter to go to a retirement community, but is open to what God is calling him to next. What a joyful human!
