At Big Bend National Park in West Texas, gasoline and diesel fuel remain unavailable, with officials urging visitors to fill up before entering the park "until further notice." The park operates two small gas stations—one near the Panther Junction Visitor Center and another at the Rio Grande Village campground. Both were out of service as of Wednesday.
The park first announced the outage on Monday through a social media post, advising travelers to fuel up in nearby towns like Marathon and Terlingua. On Tuesday, Aramark, the private company that operates the park's gas pumps, told Marfa Public Radio the outage stemmed from "storm-related damage.
