Last year we were making our way to Custer State Park to hopefully capture some photos of the newborn baby bison. We were there for a few weeks, however there were 2 days we had amazing photography opportunities with these newborns. One of the days they had a “nursery” at the end of a dirt road. We saw hundreds of babies and spent an hour observing and shooting the herd with my then new telephoto lens.
