Seven and a half years ago, I took this photo near where we are now. We attended the @escapeesrvclub #bootcamp at the North Ranch Escapees RV Park, about an hour from here, before we even bought our first rig. We have been full time rving for over 7 years. When we took off on the road everyone asked how long we were going to do this. We always said, as long as it feels right. We are finally at a point where we want a ‘home base.’ We found a lot in Tucson and are excited to have a place to park Mona for as long as we feel like it. Bonus that it is a covered full hook up spot on a concrete pad in our favorite RV Resort we have been to in 7.5 years. But the best part is that it comes with a house that mom and dad moved into this summer. I have had several close friends lose one or both of their parents in the past years and months. I am so excited to spend some quality and quantity time together with the parents. We will still take lots of shorter trips around the southwest over the winter before we head to Minnesota for my niece’s wedding in June. Life is such an adventure.
