Trips to the magical State of Colorado are among the things I’m most excited about every year.
This is because we always find ourselves surprised and pleased at the new amazing sites we discover everytime we visit.
Take this incredible photo of the Great Sand Dunes National Park that I took.
Fresh from our trip the previous day, we came across this awesome sight that truly complements the area around it – the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve.
It took me a while to set up my gear, looking for the best angle to take a shot at this magnificent view.
As I moved across the fields, adjusting my position, I found myself at the perfect spot where the field, the dunes and the mountainous background were in harmony! The weather even agreed with me as the skies were clear, with a few clouds in between.
I took my time as I shot the photo – it was a magical combination of colors as the fields, followed by the sand dunes, and finally the snow capped mountains in the background.
It truly felt like we were “on another planet” that day.
