I hope this message finds you well and happy. Today, I’m bursting with joy as I share the wonderful outcome of a recent fundraiser that holds a special place in my heart. As many of you know, Lahaina, Hawaii, is a place that means a lot to me and my husband, Brett. It’s where we celebrated our honeymoon, and since then, we’ve made it a tradition to visit this paradise on earth every year.
This year, Lahaina faced a challenging situation—a recent fire left many families without homes and in need of support. Witnessing the pain of a place so dear to us inspired Brett and me to take action. We decided to turn our passion for photography into a fundraiser to help those affected by the tragedy.
I’m thrilled to announce that our Lahaina Fine Art Fundraiser was a tremendous success! The response from our community has been heartwarming. I chose to donate all the proceeds from the sales of my fine art images of Lahaina to charities working tirelessly to rebuild and support the victims.
Creating these images brought back memories, and it was a true labor of love. Each photograph captured a piece of Lahaina’s spirit—the vibrant sunsets, the bustling streets, and the serenity of the ocean. These images, which hold sentimental value for Brett and me, now serve a higher purpose in aiding the community we hold dear.
Brett and I believe in the healing power of art. It’s a language that transcends boundaries and speaks directly to the heart. Lahaina, with its unique blend of beauty and resilience, inspired me to create images that not only showcase its physical charm but also capture the indomitable spirit of its people.
