“What’s that red box,” asks the typical Gen Z person every time they see this photo.

It’s not really surprising to get asked this, considering how rare telephone booths are nowadays.

That’s exactly what got me to take this photo.

It’s the nostalgia, that feeling like I’m back in the 70s or 80s when telephone booths were all the more common.

And that red color just pops out you know!

I can picture Clark Kent entering that telephone booth and exiting as Superman…

Like endangered species, telephone booths have become a thing of the past, fading into obscurity as the world continues to change.

It shows just how much technology has improved over the past few decades, that even these wonderful phone boxes have become as distant as the past is to the generation of kids and teenagers today.

But that’s the beauty of taking this photo isn’t it?

Preserving the things of the past so future generations can appreciate them.
